一、概念：英语中三者或三者以上相比较，表示
“最……” 这样的最高程度概念时，要用 “the+最高级” 的结构表示。形容词的最高级前必须加定冠词the,副词前的
the可以省略。这种句式一般带有表示比较的介词短语of/in/among等.
比如: Wang Lin is the tallest in our class.
This theater is the cheapest of the three.
形容词、副词的的最高级1.主语+动词+the +形容词最高级+of /in/among.
Eg. She is the most beautiful girl in our class.
Changjiang is the longest river in China.
2.one of+ the+形容词最高级+名词复数+比较级范围（of/in短语），表示“最……的……之一”。
Eg. Yang Liwei is one of the most famous heroes in China.二、形容词和副词的最高级的用法3.the+序数词+形容词最高级+单数名词+比较范围，表示“……是……的第几”。

4. Who/Which + 谓语动词+最高级， A ，B or C? 表示三者中，哪一个最……？

注：有些比较级与最高级之间的句子可以转换。注意使用最高级时应注意以下几点：
(1) 表示 “最……之一” 的句式，要用 one of the
+形容词最高级+复数名词。
例如：Jingjiang Hotel is one of the biggest hotels
in our city.

(2) 当最高级前面有物主代词或名词所有格时，
不加定冠词 the。
例如：Tom is Lucy’s best friend.

(4) 形容最高级修饰作表语或介词宾语的名
词，代词时，被修饰的词往往省略。

1.规则变化：
1).一般情况下，单音节或双音节的形容词比较级直接加-er, 最高级直接加-est。如：
clever—cleverer—cleverest
cheap—cheaper—cheapest
few—fewer—fewest
small—smaller—smallest
young—younger—youngest
2). 以不发音-e 结尾的，比较级+ -r,最高级+ -st。如： large—larger—largest nice—nicer—nicest
cute—cuter—cutest
3).以辅音字母加y结尾的，变 y为i,再加-er ， -est。

5).部分双音节词和多音节的形容词和副词 ，需在原级前+more构成比较级，+ most 构成最高级。如：
