Project
There are a lot of differences between the school habits of American and Chinese, especially high school students. For example, in the USA, high school usually ends at 4:00 p.m. But in China, although school usually ends at five, there will be night study until 9:00 p.m., sometimes even later!
Also, Chinese students have to do a lot of homework. I guess maybe nobody goes to bed before ten o’clock. But for American students, there is not a lot of homework. Most of the time, they text their friends and talk to them. They usually don’t talk about grades.
Extensive reading
Extensive reading
On Friday nights they like to go to the movies instead of doing homework.
American students don’t have a lot of homework, but they work hard for going to college, because colleges don’t only look at the grades, so students have to do a lot of extra-curriculum activities(课外活动). Also there are graduation tests they have to take and pass before they graduate, in order to get the high school diploma(毕业证书)
Think: Which school do you prefer, Chinese or American Why
Homework
1. Recite new words and expressions .
2. Finish the MP exercise paper.
