难点分析 从知识角度分析为什么难 本课的核心话题是谈论人的外表形象，日常生活中，我们经常要向别人描述人物，如我们所熟悉的人物的身高、发型、胖瘦、和面部特征等，需要用到“has”和“is”对人物进行描述，对这两个单词用法会存在疑义，修饰名词的形容词先后顺序较难掌握。
从学生角度分析为什么难 本课在真实的语言环境中表达自己的思想，对学生的知识，能力及情感价值观均会得到更高水平的提升，但仍然会存在以下的问题：1.对词，句的读音，同学们可能会存在一些问题。2.同学们对is/has的用法会存在一些疑惑，在练习中会存在各种差错。3.课上大部分时间进行的是听说的训练，如果真正落到笔头上同学们可能会存在一些问题。4.描述头发时形容词的排列顺序较难掌握（长短+形状+颜色+头发）
难点教学方法 1.通过图片（警察抓小偷）导入，引出学会描述人物外貌的重要性。2.通过图片展示，将从四个方面进行人物外貌描述。有趣的人物外貌图片展示，吸引学生的兴趣，使他们乐于表现，参与意识较强。3.通过讲解、练习、写作，掌握人物外貌描写的方法，并且使情感教育得到升华：不要以貌取人。

导入 1.通过图片（警察抓小偷）导入，引出学会描述人物外貌的重要意义。
知识讲解（难点突破） What does he look like 对人物外貌特征进行提问。从四个方面进行回答：(1) height (2) build (3) hair (4) face3.首先从身高方面进行讲解：What does he look like？ （1）He is short. (2)He is of medium height. (3)He is tall. 4.接着从体型方面进行讲解：What does he look like？ （1）He is thin. (2) He is of medium build. (3) He is heavy.5.然后从头发样式方面进行讲解 ：What does he look like？ （1）He has short/long hair. (2) He has curly/straight hair. (3) He has long straight hair. (4) He has short curly black hair.注意：第三人称单数+has+长短+形状+颜色+hair.6.最后从面部特征方面进行讲解 ：What does he look like？ （1）He has a small mouth. (2) He has a small nose. (3) He has a round face. (4) He has big eyes.注意：正确使用“has”和“is”对人物进行描述。
