2. Work on 2a. Write the words you know for the things in the picture.
【设计意图】通过学习新词汇，以及让学生根据图画提示写出学过的或知道的物品名称，为阅读2b的文章提供词汇铺垫，起到承上启下的作用。

(1) I’m tidy. 我很整洁。
tidy 是形容词，意为“整洁的；井井有条的”。
My aunt’s room is always clean and tidy. 我姑姑的房间总是干净整洁。
(2) I’m Kate, and my sister is Gina. I’m tidy, but Gina is not. 我是凯特，我妹妹吉娜。我很整洁，但是吉娜不整洁。
and和but都是并列连词，用来连接两个单词或句子，但用法却不同。
and 用来表示并列关系，意为“……和……”“……以及……” 用来连接并列的词与词、短语与短语、分句与分句。当and连接两个名词作句子主语时，当复数看待。
but表示转折关系, 意为 “但是，然而”，在句中连接前后两个意思相反或相对的句子。My radio and tape player are on the desk. 我的收音机和录音机在桌子上。
Jenny’s room is tidy, but Tom’s room is not. 詹妮的房间很整洁，但是汤姆的却不。
