【学习目标】
1.(95%学生)能根据读音规则和音标拼读单词housework, Internet, program。能根据图表和语境学会频度副词hardly ever, never 和频率次数once a week, twice a week等。
2. (95%学生)能根据图片或语境表述出“日常休闲活动”话题中词汇 exercise, use the internet, help with Housework等。能理解并学会目标语言: What do you do on weekends I often/always... How often do you... I...once a week/...的基本结构、表意功能。
3. (90%学生)能听懂有关话题free time activities的对话,并能根据重音、语调的变化,体会句子意义的变化.
4. (90%学生)能运用话题词汇、目标语言及所给图片等,围绕话题free time activities进行简单交流,做到语音、语调基本正确、自然、流畅,发展语言交际能力。

【活动过程设计】
Step 1. Greeting and lead-in.
Hi, boys and girls. Today we’ll learn Unit 2 How often do you exercise (Section A 1a-2c). The topic of this unit is free time activities and the function is to talk about how often you do things. These are our learning objectives, read it by yourself.
Step 2. Pre-listening.
1. Free talk: what can we do on weekends
2. Show my free time activities and introduce the frequency words.
3. Ask students to practice the sentence structure“What do you do on weekends I often/always... ”with their partners. Then complete the sentence structure“How often do you... I...once a week/... ” to feel the expression of the frequency.。
Step 3. While-Listening.
1. Cheng Tao is talking about how often he does these activities. Listen and number the activities 1-5.
2. Listen again and match the activities with how often Cheng Tao does them.
3. Listen and imitate. Please pay attention to the pronunciation, intonation, emotion and liaison.
Step 4. After-listening.
Ask students to make up a conversation with their partners.
Step 5. Summary.
Today we learned these activities and frequency adverbs. We use them to talk bout how often we do things.
Step 6. Homework.
1. Role-play 2b with your partner.
2. Use the adverbs frequency always, usually, often, sometimes, hardly/hardly ever and never to introduce your friends’ weekend activities.
3. Preview 2d-3c.
