I think natural wonders are more interesting than man-made ones.

I’ve never seen it, so I’m not sure I agree with you.

You can hear the loud noise a few kilometers away.
4.它有大概2300米长，185米高，顶端有15米宽。
It’s about 2,300 metres long, 185 metres high and 15 metres
wide at the top.
5.它为成千上万的中国人提供电能。
It produces electricity for millions of people in China.
6.听起来很不错，但我认为非洲的的维多利亚瀑布更壮观。
That sounds great, though I think Victoria Falls in Africa are even more fantastic.

In my opinion, man-made wonders are more exciting than
natural ones.
Suddenly, the rain stopped
and the clouds cleared.
The sun rose behind me
and shone on the rocks.
When I arrived, it was early
morning and it was raining.
I got out of the car, went
through a gate and walked
along a dark path.
Far below me, the ground
fell away and down to a river.
I looked down to the Colorado
River, a silver stream nearly
one miles below me.
If you put the two tallest buildings
in the world on top of each
other at the bottom of Canyon,
they still would not reach the top.
I reamained by the Canyon for about half an hour, and asked myself, "......... "

III. Express yourselves – Writing
Imagine you have just visited one of the natural or man-made wonders. First, write sentences and describe your experience. Then, write a passage using the sentences you have written to help you.
Requirements:
1.Try to use different tenses.
2. To use the object clauses as many as
possible.
