Step1 Warming-up and listening
1. Look at the pictures and talk something about heroes.
2. Say something about Deng Yaping.
3. Listen and check the correct answers in Activity 2.
Step 2 Listen and read
1. Listen to the tape carefully.
2. Ask the students to read through the conversation individually.
3. Deal with the exercises in Activity III and IV.
4. Play the tape and have them read and follow.
5. Act it out.
