设计说明
本课时的教学通过小组活动让学生熟悉所学对话,然后通过游戏进一步熟悉全班同学的名字。使用时钟让学生清楚地认识Good morning/afternoon/evening!的区别,学会在不同的时间段使用它们。运用pair work,group work等活动,引导学生进行针对性训练,巩固所学知识。同时,引导学生探究元音字母A,E在单词中的发音规律。
教学目标
1. 知识目标:
(1)掌握交际用语:Good afternoon!;Good evening!;—How are you —I’m fine/OK,thanks. 。
(2)掌握字母A和E的发音规律。
2. 能力目标:
(1)学会运用本单元的日常交际用语。
(2)学会将含有相同音素的字母和单词归类。
3. 情感目标:
培养学生礼貌待人的习惯,增进友谊,增强交际能力。

教学过程
Step 1 Warming up and leading in
1. Review the English letters Aa-Hh. First let the students recite them.
:A,B,C,D...
:A,B,C,D...
Then ask the students to write the letters on a piece of paper,and check in pairs.
2. Greet the students.
Students practice greetings in groups of four using their English names.
:Good morning,Dale!
:Good morning,Eric!
:Hello,Frank!
:Hello,Grace!
Step 2 Presentation
Use a clock to help to learn new words:afternoon,evening.

Step 3 Listening and practice
1. Listen,repeat and number the pictures in 3a. Then check the answers.

2. Practice the conversations in 3a in pairs.

3. Listen to the conversation in 3c. Then practice the dialogue.

4. Discussion
Lead the students to find out the language points and discuss them in groups.
(1)下午与晚上见面时的常用问候语分别是Good afternoon!和Good evening!;其答语分别为Good afternoon!和Good evening!。How are you 意为“你好吗?”,可用于一天中的任何时间段,其答语通常为I’m fine/I’m OK,thank you/thanks. 。
(2)I’m是I am的缩写,其后接形容词时,表示“我怎么样”。如I’m fine. 意为“我很好”;are用于第二人称和其他人称的复数形式。如How are you (你好吗?)。
Step 4 Practice
Write the names of the children in 4a according to the people on page S1. Then write the names in alphabetical order. Please pay attention to the first letter of the names.

Step 5 Listening and repeating
1. The students listen to 4b carefully and then repeat these letters and words.
2. Fill in the blanks.
Step 6 Reading
1. Read the letters and words in column 1 in 4c. Then try to read the new words in column 2.
2. Make sure that the students understand the difference(s) between the two pronunciations of “a” and “e”.
Step 7 Listening and singing
Listen to the song in 4d first. Then sing after the tape. At last just play the music and let the students sing together.
First let the boys have a try,then the girls.

答案与解析:
Ⅰ. 1. B 根据答语I’m OK,thank you. 可判断上句话应该是询问对方身体状况的话,因此B项How are you 符合题意。而A项意为“早上好”,C项意为“你好;喂”,D项意为“我是莉莉”,均与题意不符。
2. C 对他人的赞美要用Thank you. 表示感谢。
3. C How is your father 意为“你爸爸身体好吗?”回答时应该用相对应的人称代词he(他),而不能用I。Hello. 与Good morning!均不符合语境。
4. C 本题考查语音。A、B、D三项均含有读音/i /。C项含读音/e/。
5. D A、B、C三项中字母a都读/e /,D项中的字母a读/ /。
6. B Good evening!是晚上的问候语,意为“晚上好”;Good night!是晚上睡觉前的道别用语,表示“晚安”。
