A: How was your school trip B: It was __________ A: How was the food there B: It was _____________ A: How was the weather B: It was ___________ Step 3: Presentation read 1a,1b,practice with parter Step 4 : listening 1. listen to the tapes carefully and answer the questions 2.Check the answers in groups. Ask Ss to pay attention to the past tense verbs. 3.listen again and follow them Step 5 : Language points and exercises. Ask the students to understand the meaning and then let them talk about the usages in groups Finish the exercises by themselves and check the answers. The teacher explains the difficult points.
