过去进行时(the Past Continuous Tense)
过去进行时
谓语构成:
was/were + V+ing
动词的过去进行时表示在过去某一时刻或某一时间内正在进行或发生的动作。
意义:
时间状语:
at this/ that time yesterday, at 9pm last night, from…to… yesterday morning, the whole evening, all day yesterday, when I came in (when引导的一般过去时态的句子)等等
