Teaching objectives
Knowledge aim: students are more familiar with words to describe people, including appearance, personality and hobby.
Ability aim: Students learn the details should agree with the topic sentences.

I wish to let students know the relationship of topic sentence and details. The aim of this class is to improve students' English writing skills about introduce someone. To cultivate the sense of cooperation and competition, optimize the teaching process of writing and improve writing effectiveness of teaching. Students have got active learning, having interest in writing and intellectual participation of all types of students can personally experience the process of collaborative learning and knowledge construction.

After more than a years’ learning in middle school, students have formed stable interest in learning English. And students have come across some adjectives used to describe people’s personal traits, such as outgoing, friendly, wild and so on. Most students can already try to describe people in a simple way. But it’s still difficult for them to write a passage to describe people’s personality with some vivid details that are relative to a certain kind of personality.

Students write according to the topic sentences.
The purpose of my design(设计意图)
Students can complete the task after having so much practice. And students have a further chance to practice. At the same time, I can check whether students have mastered how to write details with the topic sentences or not.

这堂课上完后,我的心情是十分忐忑的。我的目标是
学生能够根据主题句扩写细节。学生的目标达成没有
特别理想。 我想者这和我的教学设计有很大关系。首先我觉得自己的活动设计不够多样性。导致学生操练时感觉到枯燥。其次warming up的环节,没有能够很好的调动好学生的学习气氛。于是使学生没有积极参与到课堂上来。第三新单词的教授不够细致。可以再细致点落实到写。第四,指令语可以再简化一点,学生很多不习惯我的指令语。没有充分考虑到接班上课的差异。第五,活动设计梯度不够明显。好像一下子就难起来,没有做到循序渐进。但总地来说,这堂课能够紧紧围绕本课的重点。并且在最后呈现时学生基本能够做到围绕主题句去写。经过这次上课,给我今后再次准备一堂写作课奠定了坚实的基础,让我能有机会再次成长。
