本模块以“问题”为话题。青少年在成长过程中会遇到诸多烦恼:功课的压力、青春期的躁动、网络的诱惑和追求的失落等。为解开他们的“心结”,教师需要在精神上给予他们足够的理解和关怀。本模块立足于学生的成长实际,围绕着“问题”这一主题展开教学,开启了语言学习和身心教育相结合的新篇章。
本单元的对话介绍了托尼和父亲的矛盾:托尼想多做课外活动,但是父亲认为学习应该放在第一位,课外活动可以放一放。双方各抒己见,都据理力争。这也是目前青少年和父母容易产生矛盾和分歧的地方。通过学习和讨论,学生们要学会换位思考,理解家长的期望,合理分配学习和课外活动的时间。
本模块的语法重点是条件状语从句“If从句(一般现在时)+主句(一般将来时)”。这是比较重要、比较难掌握的一项语法内容,因此教材中提供了充分的语言材料供学生理解和运用。
教师在教学中应采用多元的评价方式,不仅要关注学生综合运用语言的能力,而且要关注学生在活动过程当中的情感态度和学习策略的发展和变化。
