Pre-task preparation Review: pigs, chicks, ducks. 2. Introduce: cows, sheep, horses ( sheep can be used as both singular and plural) 1. Look at the pictures and say what they are. To review and elicit the new teaching.
While-task procedure Introduce: farm This is Old MacDonald’s farm. (What’s Old MacDonald ) He’s a farmer. Introduce: farmer Sing a song. Ask: What animals has Old MacDonald got How many ducks / cows… Read and write. Play the cassette and have the students sing along. (Look at page 36) This is Old Mac Donald’s farm.
