难点分析 从知识角度分析为什么难 了解不同人的外貌和同一人的不同外貌，了解中西方文化中在表达自己的观点时存在很大的差异。我们比较委婉，而西方人则更直接些。
从学生角度分析为什么难 不能掌握本单元出现的表示人外观的词组及句型，也不能结合实际生活进行灵活运用这些词组及句型描述别人的外表。
难点教学方法 1.对于本课的单词、短语通过前几课时学过的单词来引出；2. 阅读由老师做个别指导与解释，为写作做准备。

导入 播放一小段最近比较火的一个电视剧《北京爱情故事》中的一个片段：程峰和石小猛去火车站接沈冰，但是程峰没有见过沈冰，石小猛在电话里描述她长什么样。然后以此为例教straight hair ,medium height, thin及两个句型：1.what does she look like 2.She has/is/is of…Step2 Presentation (SectionA1a/SectionB1a)(5min)引导学生熟悉有关描述人的外貌特征的词
