I．语言点精讲
1. Sam has longer hair than Tom. 萨姆的头发比汤姆的长。
这是一个含有形容词比较级的句子。比较级用于两者或两类事物之间的比较,“更……，较……”。通常用从属连词than连接,表示比较。
比较级的结构：A +have/has+形容词比较级+名词+ than+B；A+be+形容词比较级+than +B。
例：她的书比他的多。 She has more books than he does.
他比我高。He is taller than me.
2. That’s Tara, isn’t it 那是塔拉，是吗
在反意疑问句中，当陈述部分的主语是指示代词this或that时，附加疑问句的主语用it； 当陈述部分的主语是指示代词these或those时，附加疑问句的主语用they。
例：这是一架飞机，是吗？ This is a plane, isn’t it
这些是葡萄，是吗？ These are grapes, aren’t they
注意：反意疑问句是由两部分组成的，前一部分是陈述句，后一部分是简短疑问句，中间用逗号隔开。如果前一部分用肯定句，后一部分就用否定疑问句；两部分的人称和时态要一致。
例：你来自美国，是吗？You are from America, aren’t you
格林一家人昨晚不在家，是吗？ The Greens weren’t at home last night, were they
3. Tara works as hard as Tina.
as…as… “与……一样……”。中间接形容词或副词的原级。否定结构 not as…as…，“不如……那样……”。
例：汤姆起得和吉姆一样早。 Tom gets up as early as Jim.
露西不如玛丽外向。 Lucy isn’t as outgoing as Mary.
not as/so…as 可与比较级进行同义句的转换
例：这个房间不如那个大/那个房间比这个房间大。
This room is not as /so big as that one.
=That room is bigger than this one.
4. Oh, which one was Lisa 哦，哪一位是莉莎？
which在问句中作疑问代词,“哪一个,哪一些”。
例：哪些是你们真正喜欢的？ Which are the ones you really like
哪一位是你最好的朋友，汤姆还是露西？
Which is your best friend , Tom or Lucy
which引导定语从句：
例: Color the birds which are flying. （which作主语）
The story (which) he told was very interesting. （ which作宾语）
5. You can tell that Lisa really wanted to win, though. 不过，你能看得出来，莉莎真的想赢。
though作副词,“不过;可是;然而”,常用于口语中,一般放在句尾。
例：—你去过澳大利亚吗？ —Have you ever been to Australia
—没有。不过我很想去。
—No. I’d like to, though.
这是份苦差事，可他还是接受了。 It was a hard job. He took it, though.
拓展: (1)though作连词,“虽然;尽管”,引导
让步状语从句,此时可以和 although 互换。
例：他虽然生病了，但仍努力工作。 Though/Although he was ill, he worked hard.
(2)though/ although不能和 but 连用,但可以和 yet, still 连用。
例：尽管已经90岁了，但他仍然很健康。
Though/ Although he is 90, he is still very healthy.
