比较级，要变化,一般词尾加er。

1. 形容词和副词的比较级可以单独使用。
e.g. Are you feeling better today Try to do better next time.
2. 形容词和副词的比较级前可以用a little，much，a lot, even, far, still等词语修饰,表示“……的多”, “甚至……”, “更……”, “……一些”。但不能用very, so, too , quite 来修饰。
The jacket is a little / much cheaper than the sweater.

3. “比较级＋and＋比较级”意为“越来…, 越…” 。多音节比较级用“more and more＋形容词原级”形式。如：

The more food you eat, the fatter you will be.
5. A+ …+the+比较级+ of the two 复数名词，表示“两者之间最….的一个(of the two)”

6. 比较级结构表示最高级含义。
1) Wang Ming is taller than any other student in our class.
王明比我们班任何别的学生都高。(王明是我们班里最高的。)
2) Bill is older than the other boys in his class.
比尔在他班里年龄比其他男孩都大。(比尔在他班里年龄是男孩中最大的。)
用比较级形式表达最高级的意义：
