I. Material analysis
This lesson is the third lesson on this topic, and the main activities are 1a and 2a. By introducing Jane and Sally, two of my classmates, we will further study and consolidate the expressions that express preferences, the general present statement sentences of the third-person singularity of the verbs, the general question sentences and affirmations, negative answers, and the main characters of the human pronouns and the usage of Binger.

Knowledge aims
Can correctly use the common present statement sentence, special question sentence, general question sentence and its positive negative answer on the basis of the grammar of Section A, and at the same time consolidate the usage of the main character and Binger of the pronouns;
Can combine topics, use "talk about preferences, friends" and other communication functions of the basic form of expression, oral and pen information output, such as: Where do he come from Does he like Chinese
Skill aims
Be able to understand the narrative and dialogue about expressing talking preferences.
Emotional aims:
In the learning process, combined with group competitions, peer assistance and other activities, to cultivate mutual help, common progress of the spirit of cooperation.

V. Teaching aids
Tape recorders, teaching flip charts, multimedia and blackboards.
Step 1 Introduction
1. Greet students ready for learning.
2. Help the students to express correctly.
3. Ask the students some questions about their description of pen pals. Present the expressions of likes and dislikes, and some new words as well: little, a little, not...at all, so, each other.
Step 2 Presentation
1. Lead the students try to guess before reading. It will help the students understand the reading material.
2. Tell the students they can find the right answers in the passage. Make them check and help each other in pair work. Revise the Personal Pronouns.
e.g.
I help them.
Jane and Sally often help me with it.
Step 3 Consolidation
1. Play the tape of 1a. Correct their pronunciation, sentence stress and liaison.
2. Give the students some key words to help them retell the passage. Encourage them to open their mouths to speak English.
Step 4 Practice
1. Show some pictures of famous stars. Make sure the students know how to express likes and dislikes, and speak in English while practicing.
2. Give the students some help while they are practicing spoken English.
3. Give them some help while they are pronouncing and writing down the words. Show some cards with sounds on them to make a group competition.
Help the students to think about some words related to the pictures before learning the sentences. Play the tape.
Step 5 Production
1. Help students check their passages.
2. Assign homework:
Read 1a aloud and fluently;
