Teaching steps:
一、Step 1. Warming up and lead in.
T: Good morning, boys and girls. Nice to meet you.
Ss: Nice to meet you.
T: How are you today
Ss: I’m fine, thank you. And you
T: I’m fine. Thanks. I’m very happy today. Why Because my best friend will come to see me this evening. I haven’t seen her for many days.(Showing a photo.) This is my best friend, Ms. Xiong. This is me.(Showing another two photos) Look at our another two photos.
Ask: ①Is she beautiful Oh, yes. She’s more beautiful than me.
②Is she tall and thin Oh, yes. She’s taller and thinner than me. I’m shorter and heavier than her.
T: She’s talented in music. She’s also good at dancing and taking photos. So I’m very happy to be friends with her. I think everyone needs friends. Friends are very important in our life. Popular stars also need friends. Now let’s look at the stars and their friends. How are they the same as or different from their friends
二、Step 2. Share some photos of stars and their friends and talk about their similarities and differences. (flashcards)
1.Huang lei and He Jiong are good friends.
T: What do they look like Huang Lei is taller and heavier than He Jiong.

2.Xie Na and Zhao Liying are good friends.

Some of them are also teachers. They teach English or Chinese in Suci Middle School. Some are good at taking photos, and some are good at cooking and so on. What do you think of my friends
