Step 1 Leading in1. Show the picture of Spud Webb and talk about his experiences with students.2. Ask students to think about “What happened from 1963to 1986 to make Spud Webb become a famous basketball player ”(The purpose is to lead students to think about how to get success.)Step 2 Presentation1. Talk about every stage of Webb’s life(from junior high to NBA )with students.2. Revise the text using retelling, asking and answering questions, interview,summary and other activities.3.
