Teaching objectives:
1．To learn words and phrases related to TV programmes.
2．To develop reading skills such as skimming, scanning, guessing the meaning of new words, predicting, inferring, etc.
3．To help students introduce their favourite TV programmes.
4. To guide students to choose good programmes to watch and right time to watch them.

1. If you are a football fan, you will not want to miss this week’s programmes.

4. This one-hour documentary takes a close look at the life of tigers in India.

2. Fill in the blanks quickly with the information given.
