定语从句一般不用which作关系代词的几种情况
1. 当先行词为all, little, much, few, every, everything,
any, anything, no, nothing, none等不定代词或由
它们修饰时,关系代词多用that而不用which。

2. 先行词前有序数词修饰时,关系词通常用that不用
which。

3. 先行词前有形容词最高级修饰时,关系词通常用
that不用which。

4.先行词前有the very, the only, the same, the right等
修饰时,关系词通常用that不用which。

5.当主句是以which,who, what开头的特殊问句时,
引导定语从句的关系代词一般用that, 而不是which。

3. why修饰表示原因的词,在定语从句中作原因状语。
Tell me the reason why you were absent yesterday.
如果先行词是表示抽象意义的地点名词,如 case,situation,condition,job,career,point 等,其后的关系副词也用where。
