1. convenient adj. 便利的;方面的
Online shopping is both cheap and convenient.网上购物既便宜又方便。
The family thought it was more convenient to eat in the kitchen. 这家人认为在厨房吃饭更方便。
Internet makes it convenient for us to get in touch with each other.互联网使得我们相互联系方便了。
be convenient for / to sb. 对某人来说方便
It is not convenient for me to ring him up.我现在不方便给他打电话。
在你方便的时候请来看我们。
误: Please come to see us when you are convenient.
正: Please come to see us when it is convenient for you.
inconvenient adj. 不方便的
convenience n. 便利;舒适;适宜

3. inexpensive 不昂贵的,便宜的
inexpensive形容词,意为“不昂贵的”,其同义词为 cheap, 反义词为 expensive/dear。
inexpensive是由expensive加上否定前缀in-构成的。
The red dress is inexpensive.这条红裙子价格不贵。
英语中常见的否定前缀
① dis-表示“不;非;相反”
如: like喜欢 — dislike 不喜欢;agree 同意—disagree 不同意。
② in-(im-,ir-)表示“不;非”
如: expensive 昂贵的— inexpensive便宜的;polite礼貌的— impolite不礼貌的;
③un-表示“不,非”
如: able有能力的 — unable无能力的;like像—unlike不像;
crowded拥挤的 — uncrowded不拥挤的;

动词不定式作后置定语,表示要做的事(尚未发生),常与名词有动宾关系,不及物动词加介词。

Have you ever been to Shanghai It’s quite a large city, so it’s very useful to take a map with you when 16
there. And maps can be easily found in most hotels and stores.

Soudee, a 24-year-old man from France, has been sailing (航行)around the world for two years. Every country he sails to, Monique the hen is by his side.
Soudee found her in the Canary Islands. He'd always wanted a partner for his journey. After meeting Monique, Soudee realized a hen was the perfect one. As it costs little to raise Monique, and she lays about six eggs a week, even in cold places like Greenland. And Soudee and Monique dock (停靠码头)there now.
Usually Soudee lets Monique stay freely on the boat, but when the winds get terrible he makes sure she is safe in her “house” so she won't fall into the sea. Another thing Soudee must care for is the rule in every country he visits for Monique's safety.
