Analysis of the teaching material教材分析 The topic of this lesson is about talking about safety and first aid. It is a conversation about first aid. The main task of this lesson is to train the students’ listening and speaking abilities.本模块以“谈论安全和急救”为话题，共有三个单元。本节课是第一单元的第一节课，本课的主要内容是以对话的形式谈论并学习正确的急救方式。本课重点强调学生的听力技巧训练，以及语言输出能力的培养, “听”和“说”是本单元最主要的学习任务。
Analysis of the students学习者特征分析 Students in Grade 8 have mastered some basic words and some simple sentence patterns. They are active and eager to express themselves. The students are encouraged to learn to listen and speak through various activities.八年级的学生已掌握很多基本词汇和常见语法，并能用简单的句型进行交流，经过七年级一年的英语学习，学生有较多的小组合作经验，思维活跃，善于表达自己。但听力和口语方面较薄弱，在课堂的活动中，教师需设计不同的任务，逐步地引导学生学会听和说。
