a written record of the things you do, see, etc. every day.
eg. He kept a journal of his travels across Asia.
entry:
an item, for example a piece of information, that is writtten or printed in a dictionary, an account book, diary, etc.(词典等的)条目;词条;账目;记录
eg. There is no entry in his diary for that day.
