2. People usually take up their first hobby when they are kids.人们通常还是孩子时候就开始他们的爱好了。
take up “开始；从事”， 后接名词或动名词。
例：After he retired from office, Jack took up painting as a hobby.
3. It’s never too late to learn something new. 学习新东西什么时候也不晚。
too…to… “太……而不能……”
something new “新东西”，形容词要放在不定代词的后面。
