Language points
1. At this moment, in different places of the world, people are doing different things.
at this moment “现在,此刻”常与一般现在时连用, 也可写作at the moment, 近义词为now。
例:我妈妈此刻正在做饭。
My mother is cooking at the/this moment.

Please wait for a moment. He will be back.
for a moment “片刻, 一会儿”,表示一小段
持续的时间。
2. They’re waiting for buses or trains.
例:快点儿!大家都等着呢!
Hurry up! Everyone is waiting!
wait“等待,等候”,是不及物动词。
当其后面跟宾语时,一定要加介词for。wait for后面可直接加名词作宾语: wait for sb./sth.,“等某人/物”;也可跟复合宾语: wait for sb. to do sth., “等某人做某事”。
例:我正等你的信呢。
I’m waiting for your letter.
玛丽正在学校门口等她的姐姐。
Mary is waiting for her sister at the school gate.
