Possessive pronouns
1) Offer Ss a piece of paper, get Ss to fold a paper plane. Then write their names on them.
Teacher holds the plane he/she made and say:
This is a place. It’s my plane. It’s mine. ( my plane= mine)
Then get each S hold his/her plane and repeat the sentences.
2) Get Ss to throw their planes, others can catch one or two.
Teacher ask Mary about the plane she is holding:
Teacher: Jenny, Is this your plane Help Jenny to answer:
No, it isn’t. It’s Tom’s plane. It’s his plane. It’s his.
(Repeat with her / hers.)
