a.能听懂Can he/she play football/basketball 并用Yes, he/she can./No, he/she can't来回答
b.使用“can”谈论他人的能力。
(3)情感目标:
a.培养学生肯定他人特长，欣赏他人能力的情怀。
b.激发学生学习英语的兴趣, 调动学生学习的积极性。
c.营造轻松、和谐、民主的学习氛围,增进教师和学生的感情,鼓励学生大胆发言,大胆展示自己的能力。

教学课件，单词卡片，足球实物一个，装有名片的盒子，积分磁铁等。
四、教学过程

2. Waring-up: Stand up & Sit down.

Step 2 Presentation
Activity 1:
1. 课件出示活动一的几张图片，引导学生用Can you… 造句。
2. Listen to the chant, and then follow it.
Activity 2:
1. 老师拿出一个足球提问。
a. What’s this It’s a football.
b. Can you play football/ Yes, I can. No, I can’t.
c. Do you know Sam Can Sam play football I don’t know.
2. 板书课题。Today, we’ll talk about abilities. After listening, we’ll know “Can Sam play football ”.
3. Listen and then answer the questions.
a. Where’s Sam What’s Sam doing （He’s playing football.）
b. Where’s Lingling What’s Lingling doing (she’s playing basketball.)
c. Can Sam play football Can Lingling play basketball

4. 单词学习。

1、课件出示明星人物图片，请同学们用Can he/ she…造句，并根据提示回答。
2、“Can Amy run fast ” 如何做否定回答？
引导学生根据Can you run fast 做否定回答是 No, I can’t.推测出上句的否定回答是No, he\she can’t.
Step 4 Production.
1、总结句型。
Can xxx ... Yes, he\she can. No, he\she can’t.
2、幸运盒子：学生从盒子里随机抽出一张名片，并造句，另一名同学回答。
