一、Content and basic aims

二、General remarks
* From now on, get the class to greet you before each lesson begins.
* Carry out the procedure suggested below, as outline in Teaching Unit 1. 按下列原第1单元所列的程序进行。
The meaning of instructions (Look! Listen!Open your books! etc. ) should be conveyed through gesture and mime. 用手势和摹拟表演来表示指令的含义。
三、Listening comprehension 听力理解
1. Introduce the story介绍故事
T: Today we'll listen to a story about a shirt.
2. Understand the situation了解情景
Ask the students to look at the pictures and explain to you in Chinese what they think is happening. Prompt the students in Chinese if necessary. 要求学生看图,并用中文解释图中表示的动作,必要时可用中文给学生提示。
3. Listening objective听力训练目标
T: Listen to the story and see if you can answer this question: Whose shirt is white
Teacher: Whose (1)shirt is that
Teacher: Is (2)this your shirt, Dave
Dave: No, sir. It’s not (3)my shirt.
Dave: This is my shirt. My (4)shirt’s blue.
Teacher: Is this shirt Tim’s
Dave: Perhaps it is, sir. Tim’s shirt’s (5)white.
Teacher: Tim!
Tim: Yes, sir

Tim: Yes, sir.

4. Play the tape or read the dialogue播放录音或朗读对话
Now play the tape or read the dialogue. The students listen without interruption and try to think of the answer to the question you set them播放录音或朗读对话。学生不停顿地听录音,准备回答教师提的问题。
5. Answer the question回答问题
After the reading, ask the question:朗读之后问:Whose shirt is white
Answer: Tim’s
四、Reading Comprehension
1. Read the dialogue again,pausing after every line to check the students understand.

2. Pattern drill句型练习:
(1)Whose is this/that handbag It’s Stella’s.用以引出单词,并进行单词训练以及句子训练。
(2)This is Stella’s handbag./ This handbag is Stella’s. 句型练习
(3) Whose is this/that handbag Is it Paul’s It’s not Paul’s. It’s Stella’s 用以引出It’s not Paul’s. It’s Stella’s. 并进行句子练习。
五、Grammar
1. Whose shirt is that 那是谁的衬衫
疑问词 whose引导的特殊疑问句
①用来询问所有关系。询问者期望得到的回答是某人的名字加“s”形式(如:Tim's蒂母的)或者是一个名词性物主代词(如:mine我的)。如:
Whose book is it 这是谁的书?
It is my book./ It is mine.这是我的书。/这是我的
② whose也可在句子中作表语。如
Whose is this car 这是谁的车?
It is my mother's.这是我妈妈的。
③当所有关系中指的是某件东西或某种物质时,whose后面的名词可以省略。如
Whose( shirt)is it 这是谁的衬衫
It's Dave's.这是戴夫的
2. Is this shirt Tim's 这件衬衫是蒂姆的吗
名词所有格是在词尾加“s”构成的,表示所有关系。
①名词所有格在句子中的成分:
名词所有格是在词尾加“’s”构成的,不仅可作定语,还可作表语。如
Is this Dave's shirt 这是戴夫的衬衫吗?(作定语)
Is it your daughter 这是你女儿的吗?(作表语)
②名词所有格的用法:
●一般名词后加“’s”。如:my father's bike, the dog's food, Lucy's bag
●以-s或-es结尾的复数名词的所有格,只在名词后加“’”。如:the workers' club●表示并列名词各自的所有关系时,须分别在各个名词后加“’s”。如:Mike's and Lucy's books迈克和露西(各自)的书。但如果表示共同的所有关系,则只需在最后一个名词词尾加。如: Mike and Lucy's books迈克和露西(两人共有)的书
