Step 1 Warm-up

2. Play a Game:
Tom Says (复习一般将来时的陈述句表达，活跃课堂气氛)
3. Lead-in：
The teacher brings a news: “We are going to have a sports day this month.” Then lead into the title :Are you going to run on sports day
Step 2 Task Presentation:
Teacher: Our sports day is coming.After the class,you can use“Are you going to... ”to ask your friends' plans on sports day.
Step 3 Text-learning
1. Play the video of Activity 1. Listen, point and find “Are you going to...”(学生找出本课功能句，并给出相应回答)
2. Play the video of Activity 1 again.
Listen,then choose the right answer on your paper.(学生根据课文在题卡上选出正确答案）
根据所选答案复述大明参加运动会的过程，引发学生思考，分享谚语：No pains, no gains.
