一、教材分析
(一)教学内容分析
本节课是第七模块的第二单元,是对前面所学英语语言知识的综合运用,也是对第一单元知识的巩固和拓展。本模块的教学内容是引导学生运用“There is/are …”这类语句来描述照片或图片图画场景。课文先呈现Sam 、Amy和Lingling谈论男孩骑自行车的场景图片,通过从一个男孩到多个男孩骑自行车的呈现,复习第一单元“There is…”句型,后引出本课的语言知识“There are…”句型。通过大明介绍4幅小动物吃食物的张片,进一步学习“There are…”句型的表达。本节课突出四个词汇“fruit、chicken、bear、pig”和“There be”句型,让学生通过探究、亲身经历和体验等过程了解“There be”句型单复数的使用,向学生渗透将生活中的具体问题转化为英语思维的思想,让学生联系实际生活,达到英语真正语用的目的,继续激发学习英语的兴趣。
(二)教学目标分析
(1)知识目标:
①能够听、说、认、读本课单词:fruit、chicken、bear、pig.
②能够听、说、读并正确运用句型: There are twelve boys on the bike.
(2)能力目标:
学生能准确运用“There is/are …”这类语句来描述照片或图片图画场景。
(3)情感、文化等有关目标:
通过本课学习,使学生有兴趣听、说英语、背歌谣,主动与他人交流,培养和增进友谊;学生能准确运用“There is/are …”这类语句来描述照片或图片图画场景。
(4)学习策略目标:
培养学生的小组合作学习能力和语言综合运用能力,挖掘学生运用语言的创造能力。通过一定的听说任务训练,让学生学会有效的听力技巧,提高学生听说能力。
(三) 重点难点分析
教学重点:
掌握单词:fruit、chicken、bear、pig.
②掌握句型: There are twelve boys on the bike.
教学难点:
学生能准确运用“There is/are …”这类语句来描述照片或图片图画场景。
二、学生分析
本课针对的是小学四年级的学生,他们活泼好动,好奇心强,想象力丰富、创造力强,对新鲜事物感兴趣,愿意和其他小伙伴一起交流,通过交流展示自己,渴望师生重视自己、赞赏自己。经过一年多的英语学习,四年级学生有了一定的语言基础和听说读的能力,能用简单的英语进行交流,但是部分学生缺乏必要的听力技巧,听说能力还有待加强。根据学生的这些特点,在教学中充分调动他们的积极性,设计一系列课堂教学活动,创设易于理解的语言情景,让学生在较为真实的语境中学会运用本课的功能句型,亲身体验、探索、实践中掌握知识,并通过这些活动完成学习任务。

Step 1 Warm-up
1.Greetings.
2.Sing a song: There green parrots.
Step2 Lead –in and new words learning.
1.New words learning.
Girls and boys, parrots are very lovely, today I also invite some lovely animals to join us. Look, They are pig, bear, and chicken. (Show the pictures of the animals and learn the three new words)
We also have three groups, you are pig team、bear team、and chicken team. The winner will get the fruit. ( Teaching the new words: fruit)
2.Play quick words game to review the new words and phrases of present participle, eg: reading a book, swimming, taking pictures….
3.Sam, Amy and Lingling are talking something, let’s go to see.
T: What are they talking about
(Show the pictures of Activity1 , and lead Ss to observe the information of the pictures to predict the contents, and then present the sentence pattern:“There is/are…”)
