《Is it a monster 》教学设计
一、教学目标:
1、语言知识目标:a. 单词:全体学生能够初步理解:monster, now, kite, don’t, know, no, help. 全体学生能够初步运用:yes, no, isn’t, help.部分学生能够初步运用monster, new, kite, don’t, know.
b. 语句:全体学生能够初步运用Is it a cat Yes, it is. / No, it isn’t. Help! 并掌握一般疑问句的升调。
2、语言技能目标:全体学生能够听懂、说并能够初步运用句子:Is it a cat Yes, it is. / No, it isn’t. Help!
3、情感态度目标:通过本单元的学习,培养学生能够根据需要勇于并乐于提出问题并回答他人的问题,激发学生们对英语学习的兴趣,是学生树立学习英语的自信心。
二、教学重难点:
1、重点:
1)、掌握以下单词:or, no, know, kite, new, monster, help
2)、运用Is it a ... 来猜测不确定的物品,并用Yes, it is./ No, it isn't.来回答。
3)、知道在紧急情况用Help!进行呼救。
2、难点:
1)、熟练掌握本单元的单词和句型,能在实际生活中灵活运用。
2)、创设英语情景,使学生正确运用一般疑问句询问物品的名称。
三、教学过程:
Ⅰ、Preparation
1. Greetings
2. Say a chant: What’s this
3. Show pictures of a cat, a bag and a monster, ask “What’s this ” Learn the new word: monster, then show the title: Is it a monster
4. Quick Skim (Ask and answer)
Ⅱ、 Presentation
1. Ask and answer. (PPT show a cat kite.)
T: Look! What’s that
S1: It’s a cat. S2: It’s a kite..
T: Is it a cat Is it a kite Let’s watch a cartoon and find the answer.
2. Watch and listen.
3. Talk about the answer, learn the new word: kite.
4. Read after the i-pen and learn the new words: new, or.
5. Read Activity 1 together.
Ⅲ、New lesson
1. T:Here are some other kites. Let’s have a look.(PPT 展示狗风筝、鸟风筝、熊猫风筝和怪物风筝) What’s this?
Ss: It’s a monster kite.
T: Yes, it’s a monster kite. Sam 生日那天就收到了这么一个可怕的怪物风筝,调皮的Sam就用这个风筝和两个小朋友搞了一个恶作剧,咱们一起去看看吧!
Watch and listen.
T: Sam真淘气,Yes?咱们平时在和同学开玩笑或恶作剧时,一定不要伤害别人。 (对学生进行安全教育)

T:这两个小朋友在看到这个怪物的时候,进行了几次猜测并作出了回答,Let’s listen and repeat to find the answers.

T: They see the monster; they are afraid and they shout “Help!” (单词卡教授“help”)
T: When we meet these things, we should shout “Help!”(PPT展示几幅表示危险场景的图,引导学生在危险的时候要知道用Help!来进行呼救)

Magic eyes: Guess what the thing is by using the sentence“Is it a… ”.
T: Here are six things. What’s this Remember them in five seconds. Let’s play a guessing game.
学生用“Is it a… ”进行猜测。
T: I choose one thing, please guess what it is using “Is it a… ”
