According to a report, China is now the third most popular country for international students behind the United States and the United Kingdom.
Last summer, 55 students and teachers from Germany came to China and joined a summer camp. They expected to get close to traditional Chinese culture. They visited several schools in Hefei, Anhui. After arriving in New Jersey, US, for a one-year cultural exchange programme, I noticed that many local people loved Chinese culture. I felt like sharing our culture with them. As a lover of t' ai chi, I set up a t' ai chi club for local primary students. My t' ai chi programme lasted for 10 weeks, with classes taking place every Tuesday.
