本单元的写作任务是写一封私人电子邮件。英文电子邮件与英文书信格式基本一样，其基本要素是主题、称谓、正文、结尾及署名。
1.电子邮件主题应当做到言简意赅，并突出邮件的重要性。
2.私人电子邮件不用那么正式，可以用“Hello/Hi”问候对方。
3.邮件段落最好控制在两三段之内，最重要的事情写在正文最前面。如果电子邮件涉及多个信息点，可以采用分条目的方法，如小标题、编号来使得邮件想要表达的内容层次清晰。
4.一般结尾语中只有第一个单词首字母大写而剩余单词都小写，此处与称呼不同，通常用“Best regards！”，“Best wishes！”等表示美好祝愿的语句结尾。
5.最后需要署名。
