课时分析:
本节课是Module10 Unit2 阅读课的第一课时,课文通过书信的形式描述了澳大利亚的风土人情。由于内容新鲜有趣,学生容易产生兴趣。教师设计各种教学任务,引导学生了解澳大利亚的风光、气候、语言及人们的生活方式,从而学会介绍地方,为下节写作课作铺垫。
四、学情分析:
本次上课的对象为初三(11)班,该班学生英语水平较均衡,对开展比赛活动比较积极,参与气氛较为活跃,为此在教学中笔者合理利用课文的动画视频、相关图片帮助学生理解课文,设置有梯度的问题,层层深入理解课文,并在学习活动中穿插小组竞赛活动,以提高他们参与课堂的兴趣,让他们对学习充满成就感。
五、教材分析:
本单元的文章主要是介绍Tony在Australia的旅行经历,虽然学生没有类似的经历,但学生对外国风光、文化有极大的憧憬和向往,因此该话题易于教师引导学生运用英语进行交流。教材的阅读任务设置符合PWP阅读规律,因此教师基于教材,设置阅读前、阅读中、阅读后各种任务问题,引导学生层层深入理解文章。
六、教学目标:
(一) 语言知识目标:
1、Vocabulary:period, relative, salad, grape, lazy
2、Patterns: The Aborigines are the people that have l lived in Australia from the earliest times, and their ancient stories describe the spirit that created the world.
(二) 语言技能目标
1、To practice reading strategies, including taking notes and scanning.
2、To be able to write about travelling experiences.
(三) 情感目标:
1、能够了解不同国家的风景和文化特征。
2、培养对世界各国自然和文化的兴趣。
(四) 学习策略目标:
1、自学策略:能够检索资料,组织语言介绍自已喜欢的某个地点。
2、合作学习策略:能够与他人合作完成任务。
七、 教学重、难点:
1、指导学生概括文章大意和理解文章细节,并感知“现在完成时”时态的语用意义。
2、指导学生如何运用从阅读中所积累的词汇、语句进行文章的仿写和创作。
八、教学策略与方法:
结合以上的教材分析,针对本课知识的重点和难点,我采用任务型教学模式,设计各种教学活动,学生在完成活动任务过程中,学会有效的阅读方法,体会小组合作和自主学习的乐趣。本课涉及到的教学方法及策略有:

十一、教学反思:
这节课能帮助学生有效地完成阅读理解任务,拓展了学生对澳大利亚的风土人情的了解,增进学生对外国文化的兴趣,但本节课的话题仅限于教材,缺乏一点给学生谈论自已感兴趣的地区的机会。
