1 Why does Professor Salovey say “it is IQ that gets you employed, but it is EQ that gets you promoted
Professor Salovey means that when doing interviews, interviewers often focus on your IQ level or how clever you are. But in real working situation, your boss focuses more on your EQ. i.e. “people skills”. Professor Salovey means EQ matters more than IQ in real working situation.
