语法模块——副词性从句（状语从句）
PART A用法讲解
一．副词性从句（状语从句）的分类
状语从句九种，分别是时间状语从句、地点状语从句、原因状语从句、条件状语从句、比较状语从句、结果状语从句、目的状语从句、让步状语从句、方式状语从句。
二．九种状语从句的连接词
1）时间状语从句:
①．the first time, the last time, each time, every time
Eg. I feel enjoyable the first time/ every time/ each time I talk with her.
第一次/每次我跟她交谈，令我很开心。
It was still in a good condition the last time I saw it.
我最后一次看见它的时候都还好好的。
②．once, now that, till, until, whenever, while, when, before, after, as
Eg. Now that we know what we are up against, how do we move forward
现在我们知道面对的问题是什么，那么我们应当如何向前推进？
③．the minute/ the moment/ the time/ the instant 一...就...
④．immediately, directly, instantly 一...就...
Eg. The phone rang the minute I arrived home.
我一到家手机就响了。

△before
It will be long before... 得过好久才……
It will not be long before... 过不了多久就……
It was long before... 过了好久才……
It was not long before... 过了不久就……
△since
It is two years since he joined the army. （join是短暂性动词）
他参军两年了。
It is two years since he smoked. （smoke是延续性动词）
他不抽烟两年了。
2)地点状语从句: where，wherever, anywhere
3)原因状语从句: because, since, for, as, in that
Eg. I have to do this since all of us here are not physicists.
我之所以要这样做是因为在座的各位并不都是物理学家。
In that case, you should go.
既然如此，你当然该去。
4)条件状语从句: in case, unless(=if...not...), say, on condition that, if, as long as, so long as, considering that, providing that, provided that, suppose that, supposing that
Eg. You will make great progress if/ in case/ on condition that/ as long as/ so long as/ considering that/ providing that/ supposing that you work hard.
如果你努力学习，你会取得很大的进步。
Then I suppose/ procide that modesty is and is not good
那么我们可以假定谦虚既是好的，又是不好的吗？
Victory will not come to us unless we go to it.
胜利是不会向我们走来的，除非我们走向胜利。
5)比较状语从句: compared to/with, 比较级+than, as+原级+as, not as/so+原级+as
Eg. The quality is better than that one.
这个质量比那个好。
The quality is as good as that one.
这个质量和那个一样好。
The quality is not so/ as good as that one.
这个质量不如那个好。
6)结果状语从句: as a result, so, so...that..., such...that..., that
Eg. It is such a cute cat that we all love her.
It is so cute a cat that we all love her.
这只猫如此可爱所以我们都喜欢她。
7)目的状语从句: so that, in order that, lest, for fear that唯恐
Eg. You should work harder so that/ in order that you will make great progress.
为了有所成就，你需要更加努力工作。
They hid themselves behind some bushed for fear that the enemy should find them.
他们把自己藏在被杂草覆盖的方得后面，以免被敌人发现他们。
8)让步状语从句: although, as/though, in spite of, but, despite, regardless of, while
A. in spite of/ regardless of/ despite+名词/名词短语/“wh-”从句：
In spite of that big, barren space between you and your goal, in spite of the fear of rejection or humiliation, dance.
尽管在你和你的目标之间横亘着那个宽大贫瘠的空地，尽管害怕被拒绝或者羞辱——跳舞吧。
In our struggle for their ideals when everyone regardless of setbacks, only to large and small setbacks.
在我们为自己的理想奋斗时，不管每一个人都会遇到挫折，只分大与小的挫折。

B. though/ although+句子
He knows a lot although/ though he is very young.
尽管他还小，但是他知道很多东西。
C. while+句子，用于强调两种情况、活动等之间的差别
Schools in the north tend to be better equipped, while those in the south are relatively poor.
北方的学校设施往往要好一些，而南方的学校则相对差一些。
【拓展】as/though “尽管”部分倒装
A: 形容词/名词+as/though+主语+连系动词
Young/Child as he is, he knows a lot.
B: 副词+as/though+主语+实义动词
Much as he tries, he won’t succeed .
C: 实义动词+as/though+主语+情态动词
Try as he might, he won’t succed.
9)方式状语从句: as, like, as if, as though
He takes good care of his students as if/ as though they are his own children.
他十分关照他的学生，就像对待自己的孩子一样。
【注】状语从句要遵循主将从现的原则
Eg. When I grow up, I will be a nurse and look after patients.
当我长大了（将来），我想成为一名护士，这样我就可以照顾病人了。
If you go to school, you will learn a lot.
如果你去了学校，你将学到很多知识。

一．副词性从句（状语从句）的分类
状语从句九种，分别是时间状语从句、地点状语从句、原因状语从句、条件状语从句、比较状语从句、结果状语从句、目的状语从句、让步状语从句、方式状语从句。
二．九种状语从句的连接词
1）时间状语从句:
①．the first time, the last time, each time, every time
Eg. I feel enjoyable the first time/ every time/ each time I talk with her.
第一次/每次我跟她交谈，令我很开心。
It was still in a good condition the last time I saw it.
我最后一次看见它的时候都还好好的。
②．once, now that, till, until, whenever, while, when, before, after, as
Eg. Now that we know what we are up against, how do we move forward
现在我们知道面对的问题是什么，那么我们应当如何向前推进？

7)目的状语从句: so that, in order that, lest, for fear that唯恐
Eg. You should work harder so that/ in order that you will make great progress.
