教学过程
Step 1 . Lead-in
1. The teacher presents two tongue twisters and asks the Ss to follow.
Mr. Cook says to a cook, “ Look at the book . It’s very good.”
Mr. Keep says to the keeper , “Look after the tiger. It’s very clever. ”
2. Ask Ss to read out the tongue twisters and underline the letter groups that have the vowels: [i:]、
[u:]、[u]、[ :]、[ ]
[i:] : keep keeper
[u] : cook look book good
[ ] : tiger clever after keeper
3. Present the letter groups and their pronunciation, three vowels: [ :] 、[ɑ:]、[e]
Good weather, bring star .
Father Horn is in his car.
Shakes head, plays the guitar.
With Dog Ball goes far.
Step 2 . Learning
1. Read the vowels and summarize the pronunciation rules of the letter groups.
2. Listen to the tape and read after the tape
3. Look at the big tree in Part A, and try to put the words in the correct place according to their sounds.
Step 3 . Practice
1. Finish exercises in Part B.
2. Read the phrases in Part C.
3. Get Ss to say these phrases loudly.
Step 4 . A chant
Get Ss to practice the pronunciation by saying a chant.
The coolest thing that I have seen by far.
Is when I took a photo with the pop star.
He jumped on to the hood of the car.
And look smart with his guitar.
I got beat.
From my head to my feet.
I started to scream.
I started to dream.
Of a wonderful word
That I have heard.
Step 5 . Homework
