单元分析
本单元围绕有规律地安排活动及培养健康的饮食习惯等话题展开教学,要求学生在学习一些体育运动词汇的基础上,掌握时间频度副词的用法,并进一步学会熟练使用“How often do you ”这个句型。这也是学生在日常生活中经常使用的交际用语,体现了本套教材融汇话题、交际功能和语言结构的循序渐进的生活化的学习程序。
本单元的核心语言项目是“What do you…”以及“How often do you… ”,主要话题是有规律地安排活动和科学地调配膳食,并学习如何使用频度副词谈论关于个人的生活习惯、饮食习惯等。从 Section A的“What do you…?”以及“How often do you…”等句型的基本运用到 Section B语篇中的综合运用,循序渐进,逐步扩展。
学情分析
学生已经学习并掌握了一些基本的活动名称本单元的重点是要学习如何使用时间频度副词来询问和回答某人做某事的规律。通过本单元的学习,引出什么才是科学的膳食和每天花多少时间锻炼身体最科学这两个主题。它们都是日常生活中学生既熟悉又感兴趣的话题, 有利于学生知识范围的延伸,并有助于他们养成良好的生活习惯。

Step 1: Free talk T: What can you do on weekends Ss: … Step 2: Presentation Talk about the background of the picture in Section A 1a T: Why are they sitting there S1: A reporter is asking students questions about the weekend activities. T: What is she writing S2: She is writing school news. T: What is the school news about S3: The weekend activities Get the Ss list the weekend activities in the picture. Describe the pictures by using present tense. Step 3: Listening 1 Present frequency adverbs. Section A 1b Listen for the 1st time, get the Ss write down the boys’ answers. Listen for the 2nd time, get the Ss write down the girls’ answers. Talk about the picture of Section A 1a by using the sentence structures and make conversations. Step 4: Listening 2 Talk about the picture in Section A 2a. Listen for the 1st time and number the activities 1-5 in the order you hear them. Listen for the 2nd time and match the activities in 2a with how often Cheng Tao does them. Listen and repeat. Step 5: Practicing Get Ss to fill in the chart in 2c. Then make conversations with the partner. Step 6: Summarizing Review the key points.
