设计说明
本节课的设计主要以活动为主,引导学生用英语What did you do at the weekend We visited lots of places.Where did you go We went to the British Museum. 来询问和陈述过去的行为。创设真实情景,鼓励、引导学生正确理解、灵活运用所学内容。本节课设计了谈论暑假的旅行活动来激发学生学习热情和信心,进而巩固和提高学生们所学的知识与技能。
1.借助教具创设语境,提高学生的语言运用能力。
在教学中,借助歌曲、动画、头饰等教学辅助手段创设语境,复习旧知,呈现新知,让学生在恰当的语境中学习运用语言,提高学生综合语言的运营能力。
2. 重视跨文化意识的培养,帮助学生了解西方国家文化背景。
一定的语言表达产生于一定的生活背景,了解文化背景是理解语言的前提。本课的文化背景Amy和大明打电话,电话里Daming询问Amy上周末做了什么学生课文时,要让学生注意观察、欣赏英国的一些名胜古迹,了解文本背后蕴含的文化元素,开阔学生视野,培养他们的跨文化意识。

教学过程
◎Warm- up(热身活动)
1. Greeting.
2. Sing the song “What did you do ”
3. Lead in
T: Lingling went to London , Do you know which place Lingling went Let’s say a chant .

设计意图:通过唱英语歌曲,复习巩固以前所学的一般过去式的句子,并看第一部分动画,让学生初步感知新知语境,为新知学习做铺垫。
◎Presentation(新知呈现)

T: Amy is calling Daming. Let’s watch the video and answer the question. What did Amy, Lingling and Sam do at the weekend ” (教读单词weekend,词组at the weekend)

设计意图:设计总问题,感知课文情景,模仿课文动画人物进行对话。在真实的情景中练习重点句子。
2. Listen and answer.(分段听录音,回答问题)

(引导学生回答:Daming: Where did they go Amy: We went to the British Museum.教读单词British, museum, And we visited Big Ben and the London Eye.

设计意图:通过问题引领理解文本,学习运用目标语,并播放英国名胜视频,让学生进一步感受英国的文化,在学习语言的同时,让学生开阔实际,培养跨文化意识。
