一、 温故知新。
Check some words and phrases of lesson 25.
二、 激情导入。
Review ：Ask the students to talk about their future. They may refer to the following patterns. Maybe I will…I may be…I might be…
T: Yesterday we did a project to predict your future life. Now I’d like to know what you will be in the future. Who will be the first to speak
S1: Maybe I will be a Chinese teacher in the US.
T: Why do you want to be a Chinese teacher in the US
S1: I will teach Americans Chinese. I hope many Americans will learn Chinese.
T: Good idea! What about the others
S2: I may be a pop singer. Then I will sing everywhere and get very rich.
S3: I might be a doctor. I will help many sick people. I will be very happy to help others.……
T: Thanks. Boys and girls, I’m very glad to learn your ambitions. I hope all of you will do the job you love and live a happy life. Now let’s listen to the tape and learn about Li Ming’s ambition.

Step one: Showing the teaching aims on the blackboard and asking students to read them together.

Step two: Come to “THINK ABOUT IT”
Work in group and talk about it, then answer them.
Step three: Learning lesson 26 by themselves in groups.
1.Listen to the passage and correct pronunciation, understand the passage meaning，then fill in the blanks.
2.Listen to the passage and answers some questions. (Listening once or three times for finishing off number 2 of Let’s Do It.)
Step four:
1..Read the lesson and answer the questions. (At first, read the questions and know the meaning. Second, read the passage silently and find the answers to the questions. )

Project: Make a yearbook! Predict your future!
Students will work in groups and make yearbooks. Before class, everyone should get the others’ pictures or he or she may draw a picture for their classmates. Write down the predictions for each student on a piece of paper. Then get the predictions others made for you. Then talk about the predictions. After talking about the predictions. Write down his or her own prediction in the yearbook. It’s fun and interesting to keep such a yearbook.
