一、教材分析:
这一话题进一步谈论人的相貌特征,从谈论头发、眼睛的色彩,到服装的色彩进而谈到各种色彩。而本Section主要让学生了解并掌握12种不同的颜色,会用What color is… / What color are … 这一句型和同伴进行交谈,能谈论头发、眼睛的色彩。
2、教学目标
1.Knowledge objectives
①Learn some words about the colors:black,blue,blond,brown,green,gray, pink,purple,red,yellow,yellow,white.
②Learn some other useful words and expressions:
look the same 看起来像
don’t look the same. 看起来不像
and 是并列连词,意为:并且; but是转折连词,意为:但是
③Talk about the colors:
—What color is it —It’s green.
—What color are they —They are pink and purple.
—What color is her hair — It’s gray.
—What color are his eyes —They are blue.
2.Skill objectives
能听懂并识别各种不同的颜色,并能用英语描述头发、眼睛的色彩。
3.Emotional objectives:
通过学习不同的色彩,培养学生热爱生活、热爱美的情感,并培养他们的观察能力和概括能力。

Step 1 Lead in
1. Greeting students ready for learning.
2.(展示人物图片,对人物外貌进行提问,复习上节课所学重点句型)
T: Does she have long hair
S1: Yes, she does. /No, he doesn’t.
T: Does she...
3. (让学生欣赏两张图片,picture A彩色,picture B黑白。引导学生说出是color使picture A更美,引出课题)
T:Colors make our world beautiful. Now, we’re going to learn something about colors.
Step 2 Presentation
1.(视频激趣,让学生回顾课前预习内容,为教授新单词做铺垫)
T:Next step,we will watch a video, and then tell me how many colors can you hear Understand Yes, let’s begin!

2.出示图片,通过师生互动来学习新单词及句型。(多鼓励、肯定学生)
① T: What color is it Ss: It’s green.
T: What color is her hair Ss: It’s gray.
T: What color are they Ss: They are pink and purple.
T: What color are his eyes Ss: They are blue.
(板书:-What color is it -It's green.

②师领读,并让学生熟读。

3.Listening exercises.(听录音给相应单词打钩后填色)
4.Sing a song.(通过歌曲巩固所学单词及句型,激发学生学习兴趣)
5.Pair work: Describe the colors of your things (pens, schoolbags, books)(师先指着身边的物体,询问学生颜色,再让学生结对练习新句型)

Step 3 Consolidation 巩固
1. Play the tape.(展示情境图,播放1a录音,学生回答问题)
①Where is Yukio from?
②What color is his hair
③What color are his eyes
2. Play the tape again and let the students read after the tape .
(播放1a录音,学生跟读并模仿其语音语调)
3. Let the students read the conversation in different roles.
(自由朗读后,全班男女分角色读,课件配合出示句子声调,引导学生朗读)
4.Complete the passage,then check the answers.(学生独立完成1b)
5.Retell 1a according to the table in 1b
(师生互动问答,巩固新句型和新单词。)
T: Where is Yukio from Ss: He’s from Japan.

T:We can see Yukio is from Japan. He has black hair and black eyes...how about Michael
Step 4 Practice 练习
Group work: color the pictures and introduce them.
(学生分组将人物图上色并介绍人物,之后上台表演,将所学知识运用到实际)

Step 5 Sum up 小结
T:So much for the dialogue,let’s sum up.
