如有两个爆破音/p/,/b/,/t/,/d/,/k/,/g/连贯出现在同一单词內部或连贯出现在前一单词结尾与后一单词开头,前一辅音音素只按其发音部位形成阻碍,但不爆破,稍作间息后立即过渡到后一个音的发音部位并爆破.这种现象称为失去爆破.
如: sit down→ si(t) down似乎听不到任何人会把sit的/t/音完整地发出来,这个音几乎永远失去.
