furniture n.家具(总称,不可数) a piece of furniture 一件家具

What + be + 主语 +like? ……什么样?主语是人时,侧重问人的性格。

3. a lot of=lots of +n.=many =much( 可数、不可数) 许多,大量

4.How many +n.(复数)+ 其他 ?(问数量的多少)

There + be( is/ are) +主语+地点状语。意为:某处有某物。(肯定陈述句)
否定句:There + be+ not + 主语+ 地点状语.
一般疑问句:Be + there +主语 + 地点状语?
肯定回答:Yes, there is/are. 否定回答: No, there isn’t/aren’t.
特殊疑问句(主语的划线提问):What’s +地点状语 ? (主语为“物”)
/ Who’s+ 地点状语? (主语为“人”)
注意:There be 的be 用 is/ are是由后面的主语来决定,多个主语时则“就近原则”。

(4)There is some milk in the bottle.(改为一般疑问句,并作肯定回答)

1. 继续学习和掌握There be 句型表示存在的用法。
Ⅱ、 知识点解析: There be 句型。
一、结构陈述:
there be 句型表示某处有某人或某物。常用结构为:there is/are +某人/某物+地点状语。例如: There is a computer on the desk. 桌子上有一台电脑。
There are twenty students in the classroom. 教室里有20个学生。
二、谓语动词:
在there be 句型中,be为谓语动词,它在人称和数上应与其临近的主语保持一致。
(1) 若主语为单数或不可数名词,be动词用is。例如:
There is a photo of a basketball on the wall. 墙上有一张足球照。
(2)若主语是可数名词复数,be动词用are。例如:
There are many trees in the zoo. 动物园里有许多树。
(3)若有多个主语并列时,谓语动词一般采用“就近原则”。例如:
There is a boy and four girls in our classroom. 教室里有一个男孩和四个女孩。
There are four girls and a boy in our classroom. 教室里有四个女孩和一个男孩。
三、句型转换:
there be 句型变否定句时在be 后加not,变一般疑问句时将be提至句首。同时,some变成any。对数字提问时,要用how many;对整个主语进行提问时,主语是物,则用what,主语是人则用who。例如:
(1) There is a bird in the tree.(改为否定句)
There isn't a bird in the tree.
(2) There are some trees behind the house.(改为一般疑问句,并作否定回答)
—Are there any trees behind the house?
—No, there aren't.
(3) There are three bags in the class. (对画线部分提问)
How many bags are there in the class?
