今天我说课的题目是外研版教材八年级上module8 Accidents Unit1 While the lights were changing to red, a car suddenly appeared.
说教材
教材的地位和作用
本模块以交通规则为话题,谈论在特定时间内正在发生的事情。该话题贴近学生的生活,为学生所熟知,非常有利于开展听、说、读、写活动。
2. 教材重难点
本课的重点是能够让学生听懂别人对事故的描述、学生能简单叙述所发生的故事。
本课的难点是让学生通过学习,能够用过去进行时对所发生的事情进行口头表述。
说学情
本课是在学生已经学过一个模块的过去进行时态为前提。学生已经知道用过去进行时可以表示过去某个时刻或时段正在进行或持续的动作。通过本课的学习,让学生了解过去进行时还可以和when, while 引导的过去时间状语连用,形成复合句。
课时安排: 基于本校学生基础教薄弱的特点,本节课安排学生学习课文中Activity1 to Activity4, Activity6.

学生能正确使用下列短语:in time, fall off, side by side, pay attention (to)

本课采用多媒体ppt课件上课,
Step1:Presemtion
1, studemts watch a video of an accident, then talk about it.
2, Students look at the picture on the book and say what is happening. They can use the words in the box.
Teacher ask questions, let students answer and describe the picture.
What can you see in the picture
What is the doctor doing
What do you think has happened
What does the policeman say
Step2: Listening
1, students listen to the recording and umderline the correct words then check the answer (activity 2)
2, students listen to the recording in activity3. students listen and answer a question: Did the car hit the boy
3, students listen to the recording again and complete the advice in activity3, then check the answers in the whole class.
Teacher explain the important sentences and phrases in the conversation.
Step3: Practice
Students read the conversation and finish activity4, then check the answers in the whole class.
Step4: Pair work
Students work in pairs, one plays policeman or policewoman, the other plays students, they ask and answer

Students read the conversation.
