Step1: Leading-in
What do people always talk when they meet In different countries, the answers are different. So I want to arouse their cultural conscious by asking students about the weather and what we usually say when we meet in England and China.

T: Yes. When people in England meet, they often talk about weather. What about our Chinese people What do we always say

T: Yes, have you eaten But do you know why Look at the map here. What can you see All kinds of delicious food. That’s because China is a country with so many different kinds of delicious food. For example, hotpot in Sichuan; Peking-duck in Beijing; rice noodles in Yunnan; Dongpo’s pork in Hangzhou; the roast mutton cubes in Xinjiang; and also the strewed noodles in Henan.

In this part, I design six tasks by sending them task card on PPT, just like the tasks in Running Man, to learn and practice how to order food.

T: Now let’s have a meal at Lao Luoyang Noodles House. Oh, there is a letter for us. Let’s see what it is. It’s a task card. If you want to have meals for free, you’d better finish the following tasks.

Step3 Extension
1. Show your opinions about food according to the pictures
There are some pictures about food. In this step I mainly want to show them that food is really in our daily life. We have three meals a day. Junk food will lead to obesity, so we should eat healthy food. In Chinese culture, many different kinds of food are made in different festivals.
2. Watch a video
The video is an advertisement of the Spring Festival Gala of 2018. It mainly shows that a kind of special food may remind you of your hometown and your family. In this step, I mainly want to appeal to students to put down phones and cherish the time we have meals with our family.
