一、教学目标:
1. 语言知识目标:
1) 能掌握以下单词:porridge, pancakes, fish, green tea, dumpling, soup, onion
2) 能掌握以下句型:
① I like …, … and …, I don’t like …, …or ….
② --What would you like to do -- I’d like to do …
2. 情感态度价值观目标:
体会学习英语的乐趣,做到“在用中学”“在学中用”。让学生平衡饮食,珍惜粮食。
二、教学重难点
1. 教学重点:
1) 学会本课单词及句型。
2) 通过进行听、说的训练,来提高学生们综合运用所学知识的能力,来让学生们能真正在实际活动中运用所学的知识。

听力训练与口语训练
三、教学过程
Ⅰ. Revision
Review the structures by guessing the pictures:
① What kind of noodles would you like
② What size bowl of noodles would you like
Ⅱ. Presentation
1. (show some pictures of food on the big screen)
Present some new words and expressions to the Ss.
2. Ss learn the new words and expressions by guessing pictures.
3. Work on 1a:
Read the words in the chart and look at the pictures below.
Write the letters of the foods or drinks on the line. Then check the answers.
4. Let Ss try to find out more countable nouns and uncountable nouns.
Ⅲ. Pair work
Play a chain action game about you like and don't like.
Sa: I like dumplings, but I don't like noodles.
Sb: Well, I like fish but I don't like meat.
Ⅳ. Listening
Work on 1c:
1. Ask Ss to read the ORDER FORM carefully.
2. Play the tape for the Ss to listen and complete the food order form.
(Play the recording for the first time, students only listen carefully.
Then, listen to the recording again, and write down the names of the foods. )
Work on 1d:
Listen again. Check the answers.
3. Work in pairs. Ask and answer:
What would you like to eat
What would you like to drink
What’s your address
What’s your phone number
Ⅴ. Group work
1. Work in groups. Discuss what would you like to cook on Father’s Day
2. Ss take turns to talk about it.
S1: I’d like to cook a fish, because he likes fish.
S2: I’d like to make a cake, because he likes sweet food.
S3: I’d like to cook some chicken soup, because it’s good for his health. ….
3. Write down what your group members do on Father’s Day.
And give a report to the class.
