You may wonder whether stress is a serious matter. 你可能想知道压力是否是一个严重的问题。
用法
1. wonder是及物动词,意为“想知道”,相当于want to know,后接宾语从句。如:
I wonder if he is right. 我想知道他是否正确。
2. whether作连词,意为“是否”,其后接动词不定式或宾语从句。如:
He wondered whether it would rain tomorrow. 他想要知道明天是否会下雨。
1. wonder还可用作不及物动词,意为“感到疑惑”;wonder about 意为“对……感到疑惑”。如:
What is he wondering about 他正对什么感到疑惑呢?
2. wonder还可用作可数名词,意为“奇迹;奇观”。如:
It is one of the greatest wonders of the world. 它是世界上最伟大的奇观之一。

3. whether 和if都可以用于宾语从句,但是以下情况只能用whether:
(1)引导主语、表语或同位语从句时;
(2)用于介词之后;
(3)后接不定式;
(4)与or not 连用。

You should be aware that stress is a risk to your health. 你应该意识到,压力会危及你的健康。
用法
be aware that引导的宾语从句,意为“意识到……”。如:
I am aware that the board has passed the items. 我注意到董事会已经通过这些条款。
1. be aware of sth.意为“知道 / 意识到某事”;be unaware of sth. 意为“未察觉 / 意识到某事”。
2. awareness是不可数名词,意为“意识”。

2. silent的同义词有calm, quiet, still,但是它们的用法有所区别:
(1)calm表示“天气、海洋等的平静状态”,或者形容人的心情“平静、镇定”。

(3)still表示“静止不动”。
