1. Potato chips were invented by mistake in 1853.
2. George Crum. He is a cook.
3. George Crum didn’t mean to make it. He then cut the potatoes really, really thin, and cooked them for a long time until they were crispy.
4. To make food crispy, we can cut it really, really thin and them cook it for a long time.
To make food salty, we can put lots of salt on it.
5. We may invent something by accident. Just keep an eye on our daily life. Maybe one day we will be inventors.

It is said that Sandwich was invented by John Montagu, 4th Earl of Sandwich in England. He was a card player. He enjoyed playing card games all day long and had reached the point of forgetting to eat and sleep. It was difficult for the servant to serve him any meals, so the servant put some vegetables, eggs and sausages between two pieces of bread and let him eat while playing cards.

When he was hungry, he shouted, “Take sandwich!” Other players copied him, eating sandwich when playing cards. mistake…for… 把……错认成……。例句:

单词enough修饰名词时,不需要倒装。
如: 我有足够的钱。

其修饰形容词、副词要倒装。
He wrote carefully enough to get the award of the

enough常可以和词组so-that,too-to转换。
如:他跑得不够快,赶不上其他人了。

He ran so slowly that he couldn’t catch up with the others.
