教学内容分析
本单元学习形容词比较级和最高级的构成,本单元的课时教学内容选择贴近学生生活的题材,如Time to Exercise、School Sports Day,学生在完成任务的过程中,运用所学知识进行英语交流,培养他们运用英语解决实际问题的能力同时了解他人的喜好,树立正确的消费观念,树立正确的人生价值观。这节课重点是对上一课时的内容进行操练和巩固,进而引导学生能够很好的利用最高级来描述人物或事物。
学情分析
学生在本单元Lesson7已经对形容词比较级有所掌握,在这个基础上更有利于学生学习形容词最高级;同时八年级学生有一定的词句语法积累,便于教师开展活动;但学生英语学习兴趣较难提高,因此教师要设置学生感兴趣的话题与活动充分调动学生积极性。
教学目标
语言知识目标:
1、对形容词及副词的最高级形式的构成进行总结,掌握其构成规则。
2、总结用形容词及形容词的最高级形式来描述人物或事物的句型结构。
过程与方法:
通过大量的口语练习提高自己的英语表达能力。
通过与他人合作培养自己的合作精神。
情感态度与价值观目标:
了解一些生活中的人或物,用最高级表达生活中值得我们去学习的东西。
通过最高级的运用,呼吁学生热爱家乡宁夏。
教学重点:
掌握和运用形容词和副词的最高级形式来描述人物或事物。
教学难点:
掌握一些特殊形容词或副词的最高级形式。
运用形容词和副词的最高级形式来描述人物或事物。
教学手段:

Step1.Lead-in Watch a vedio and answer the question . 1. Ask the students to help the teacher find the best movie theater in Shiyan. 2. Show the students the process of choosing the movie theater on “美团”.answer questions:Which is the best movie in Xiaoba (the most popular)Which is the closest movie theater near our school Which is the cheapst movie theater in Xiaoba 导入新的话题 4’

Step 2 Find rules 1. Show the students some pictures. 2. Ask them to describe the pictures with adj. 3. Guide them to find the rules of regular forms. Ask the students to write down the irregular forms. Students ‘activities:1)Look at the pictures and describe them with adj. 2)Find the rules together. 3)Write down the irregular forms and check together.Step 5. Ask the Ss to try some new words. (These four words are common used words, but they are not followed the regular patterns.)Step 6. Ask the Ss to fill in the blanks with the help of the rules they have just summed up. 引导学生归纳出形容词、副词最高级的变化规则并运用规则写出一些单词的最高级。 5’

Step 7Group work 1. Ask the students to enjoy a video to relax. 2. Let the students discuss the question together. 1)Choose the group manager. 2) Prepare for the report. 3) The managers do reports. 4)The group leader vote for their favorite travel service and give their reasons. 8. Elect the best travel service. 9.The winner deliver his or her thoughts of winning. 调动学生积极性,使学生用所学知识积极参与到活动当中,锻炼说的能力。
